Hi, I’m Smit, a UX designer in Canada focused on creating clean, human-centered digital experiences. I blend my tech background with a love for clean UI to design products that solve real problems and make life easier for people.
About Me
I design interfaces that are intuitive, purposeful, and grounded in empathy. My goal isn’t just to make things look good , it’s to make them work beautifully for the people using them.
I believe good design starts with listening and ends with solutions that feel natural. That means asking why before deciding how, and building experiences that reduce confusion and add value.
My UX Journey
How I went from writing code to designing experiences people love
My journey into UX began in the final year of my bachelor’s degree while working on an e-commerce website. Somewhere between writing HTML and styling buttons, I realized I had forgotten to add something as basic as a search bar. That small oversight made me stop and think: “How will anyone even use this?”
That moment changed how I saw digital products. I started caring less about the code behind them and more about the people using them. I dove into online courses, experimented with personal projects, and discovered that my real passion lay in designing for clarity, not complexity.
Since then, I’ve completed the Google UX Design Certificate, joined Humber College for postgrad studies, and started my first internship as an Accessibility Design Specialist. Every project, from mobile apps to accessibility tools, is another step in my goal to create designs that actually make life easier for people.

Beyond the Screen
Outside of design, I like keeping things balanced sometimes creative, sometimes chill.
I enjoy sketching in my free time and have a small collection of drawings I’ve done just for fun. It’s my way of staying creative without screens. I also love watching anime, gaming on my PC, going for walks or sprints, and honestly... taking solid power naps when I can.
It’s all about doing things that reset my brain and keep me inspired whether I’m holding a pencil, a controller, or just zoning out to a good episode.
